Generic moxidectin injectable solution
Norbrook has added Tauramox™ (moxidectin) Injectable Solution to its portfolio of cattle health products available to North American producers and veterinarians. The product is the first generic Cydectin® (moxidectin) Injectable Solution available for the treatment of a broad range of internal and external parasites that affect the health and performance of beef and nonlactating dairy cattle (under 20 months of age).

Tauramox™ Injectable Solution

Ready-to-use, Tauramox contains 1% moxidectin and is labelled to control adult and certain larval forms of 12 types of roundworms, including the more devastating Ostertagia species; lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus adults and L4); grubs (Hypoderma bovis and lineatum); mites (Psoroptes ovis (Psoroptes communis var. bovis)); and lice (Linognathus vituli and Solenopotes capillatus). The product provides up to 42 days control of Dictyocaulus viviparus and Oesophagostomum radiatum; 35 days of control of Haemonchus placei; and 14 days control of Ostertagia ostertagi and Trichostrongylus axei.

Tauramox has a 21-day preslaughter withdrawal, and producers can expect the same weight gain advantage as with Cydectin Injectable. Tauramox is approved for use in beef cattle 8 weeks of age and older, and in nonlactating dairy cows 8 weeks to 20 months of age. It is not approved for use in veal calves. It is available in 500-mL bottles.

All-new line of small articulated loaders
During CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, CASE Construction Equipment unveiled the seven small articulated loader models it will launch throughout 2023 and 2024. The company showcased three of the new models: The telescopic SL12 TR, the electrified SL22EV, and the telescopic SL35 TR.

Electrified SL22EV

Attachment flexibility is a major strategy for CASE as it expands and fills out its compact and sub-compact loader fleet. The smaller sizes of the new small articulated loader line will share attachment commonality with the new mini track loader (MTL) fleet, while the larger models in the range will share compatibility with standard skid-steer and compact track loader attachments.

The addition of telescopic booms on rubber-tired loaders also offers a new dimension of versatility and performance to the CASE product lineup. The electrified SL22EV further builds out the CASE electric vehicle portfolio, delivering solutions that work indoors or outdoors while providing operators with a quiet and comfortable loader solution — all while eliminating emissions and maintenance related to diesel engines.

The new lineup features machines spanning 25-75 hp with rated operating capacities (50 percent of tipping load) ranging from 1,200 pounds (lb.) up to 5,000 lb., and cabs that include both ROPS and foldable open ROPS configurations. Units will hit CASE dealers later in 2023 and into 2024.

New disc header for self-propelled windrowers
New Holland Agriculture North America has introduced the Durabine™ 413 Plus disc header for Speedrower® PLUS Series self-propelled windrowers. The new header features a cut width of 13 feet (ft.) 1 inch (in.) (4.0 meters), offering customers a new head size option to choose from to fit their needs. It also provides greater maneuverability, fast dry-down time and close cutting.

Durabine™ 413 Plus disc header for Speedrower® PLUS Series

Built in New Holland, Penn., the Durabine 413 PLUS disc header features the same cutterbar and conditioning systems featured on the Discbine® 313 Plus center-pivot disc mower-conditioners.

With a cutting width of 13 ft. 1 in., the MowMax II Plus modular cutterbar delivers the cleanest, closet cut yet from New Holland. To ensure as much crop is cut as possible, a cutting height as low as ½ in. (12.7 mm) is achievable, just like the rest of the Durabine Plus Series. To save customers’ valuable time, the QuickMax™ knife-change system is standard, along with the ShockPRO™ hubs for added protection. As a result of its size, the Durabine 413 Plus has an overall width of just 13 ft. 6 in.

From the cutterbar, crop is transferred directly into a 125-in.-wide chevron-pattern steel or rubber roll conditioning system without requiring an auger.

Easy access to the cutterbar and drive components makes maintenance simple. Like a Discbine® 313 Plus center-pivot disc mower-conditioner, the Durabine 413 Plus also has poly bifold upper shields that are easy to lift and impact-resistant to avoid dents from foreign objects. The roll drive door is made from durable poly and has a steel plate at the bottom for added protection. Material overlap keeps the curtains in place without clips or magnets.
